Nothing with friends. I don't talk to anyone from high school anymore save for three or so friends. Still not gonna do anything with them because I'm not much of a drinker and I'd rather spend time with my family. We will probably just get a ton of food from Sam's or Costco and just hang out. Beats being hammered any day.

I don't go out on NYE to clubs unless I'm getting paid for it. Might go to London and hang out with family/friends there perhaps. Or visit my new GF at her uni, she lives on an all-female dorm FTW so if I went there we might end up all getting wasted and me being the only guy there. Yeah, OK, I'm doing that lol.

I started working with this Indian girl, she moved to the states for college, and I asked her if she ever heard of swami and she said no. It made me sad.

My company is actually throwing a Nye party, pretty lame. The Indian girl asked me to go with her but f that

Nothing special NYE just going to church, but on NYD I'm going to gamble in AC and see Pitbull perform, so I'm looking forward to that.

Why do people go to church on New years
Because not everyone wants to party and drink like fools, yet they want to gather with others and ring in the new year. Plus, it's like a tradition in the black community here in the US. In 1862, on New Year's Eve, blacks came together in churches and gathering places throughout the nation, anxiously awaiting news that the Emancipation Proclamation had become law on Jan 1. So, black folks have gathered annually on New Year's Eve since the earliest days, praising God for bringing them safely through another year and praying for the future.

I actually knew of the black people thing but I didn't think you or sigh were black lol. I was wondering if there was some religious belief tied to it that I didn't know of but you sort of answered that. It makes complete sense for them to thank god for bringing them through the year...so thank you

When I was 15 I used to go with my friends to a church youth group. We were persuaded to by a really hot girl who was also a bible basher. Them church girls were freaky, and we got a load of sex. We also got a lot of laughs from the propaganda and people suddenly shouting hallelujah.... If there was a god, I'd be going to hell...

The only time I would get hammered and act a fool and have a "no regrets" attitude towards it would be if I knew id never see those people ever again. So my last night of med school, I'm letting a few fuckers know what I think of them. So long as nothing changes between then and now.
