What's your "realistic" dream car?

#1
As the title states, what is a reasonable car that you wish to have that you could realistically get someday? (Clearly answers like the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, McLaren F1 LM, Lamborghini Diablo Jota, etc. do not apply, unless you're rich.) Also, just say which car rather than posting a picture, since most of you either don't know how to do so or post up a picture that is way too fucking huge.

I'd want a Lotus Elise, I think I could get one of those. If I could, I'd try to either get a factory warranted version with a better engine. I remember before they were released, Elises were being tested with engines from the Acura RSX/Honda Integra Type-R (rated at 220 hp and 152 lb.-ft) and beating 911 Turbos on their testing track, so that would've been sweet. (That engine was scrapped for the Toyota Celica GT-S motor since the Type-R motor hadn't been legalized for the U.S.)

You just love your VWs, don't you? Haha, it's all good. The new R32 looks really nice.

But speaking of brand loyalty, I wouldn't mind having the Evo X when it comes out. On some car forums, I read that insiders have stated that the test mules are putting out 330 ps (~325 SAE hp), and they're just trying to finalize production specs. (For comparison purposes, the JDM Evo IX, while rated at 280 ps, was putting out around 310 hp; the U.S.-spec Evo IX, also underrated at 286 hp, was putting out around 300 hp.) It should be even more of a beast than before, so I'd like to have this one too :)

EDIT: after watching this video, I think I want a Nissan GT-R too. Screw the Lotus.

Either:

A GTR (as high up the model line as one can get. R34 V-Spec Nur? Yes, please!) or an RX-7. 'cos I like rotaries.

The GTR sounds excellent, though. Mind numbing performance, 4 seats and it even looks good.

And I'd want it in that special light green brownish hue. :thumb:

Not a bad choice... the Supra Turbo was my dream car when I was in junior high. A lot of those Japanese sports cars that were killed off in the mid- to late-'90s (Supra, RX-7, 300ZX, 3000GT) were all pretty nice. But out of those, I'd want to fix up a Supra for sheer power (like destroying quarter-miles) and an RX-7 for drifting.
