The Battle of Stirling Bridge was a great victory for Wallace & yet in the movie there was no bridge? The bridge was the reason teh Scots won the battle & massacred an English army that outnumbered them.

Also, rather than scream FREEDOM!, when he was dying Wallace was actually reciting the bible (an important fact in the fight to have him canonised)
I think the effect of the movie was supposed to emphasise the character of Wallace and what he stood for. Sure there were a number of inaccuracies but if anything they made the move more enjoyable in my opinion.

Why would it be? We nearly outnumber them :D Only joking. A lot of my friends are Protestants, it makes no difference to me what you are. Down here there's little or no religious divide we're all Irish. Pity the same can't be said for the North.
