off topic, has anyone heard Wale's (major label) debut? if so, is it good? I've heard one of his mixtapes (The Mixtape About Nothing, which is very impressive) and, of course, "Nike Boots". i also feely obligated to pick it up simply b/c i live right outside of DC.

I bought it last friday, but only listened to it a few times. Sounds pretty good though. Mirrors and contemplate are my fav tracks so far.

Here is mirrors

Tupac would have like 5 million followers AT LEAST.
He would be talking mad shit about everyone..."im bout to go make 2 songs dissing blah blah blah" then talking SOOO much shit about the media.

It doesn't seem like you are kidding but maybe you are. If not, I disagree, I think he would be way more mature by now.

^^im kidding. "blah blah blah"

But, mature or not. I still think he would talk SOME shit about the media if they portray him wrong.

the reason why Pac spent so much time in the studio is because his music was his meduim, his way of communicating to the masses.

the use of twitter is a means of self publicity, and on a certain level twitter is also a form of media, and we all know what Pac's perspective was on the media.

i think Pac was above all the shit that was going on in the media. if anything, Pac used the media as a means unto himself, to gain publicity, create controversy, and sell records.

i doubt that Pac would have twittered, because he blogged everything down in his music instead, and created it into material to be sold. plus the use of twitter doesn't pay $$.
