I take it as you're refering to me. In which my response is: You don't seem to get it. The war(war on terror as you all know it) has NEVER been about killing the actual terror. I mean, you (the brittish/usa troops) have killed INNOCENT iraqis too. Now, since you have declared a war (why do you else call it WAR on terrorism?) the other side WILL fight back. The killing of innocent civilians is not justified in shariah under any circumstances. Reasoning may be applied, such as the desperate situation etc, but that reasoning is not from shariah.
In this attack, there has also been damaging of civilian infastructure, again, this is contrary to the shariah. Civilian infastrucutre is not a legitimate target. Look at this from any angle and you will find that this has contravened two of the main rules that governs jihad in the shariah law.
Besides, no one knows for sure who did this attack and for what purpose anyway. 'obviously' is not a proof.
Be very interesting to see what action the US and UK are going to take after this attack though. Afghanistan might get a visit from the marines I feel!
