Most slept on album of the year....

Hell Rell's - For The Hell Of It. The beats were crazy from top to bottom, he spit hard on every verse, and this is more Dipset and more New York than anything I've heard in a minute now. This is really becoming one of my fav albums of the year...

Thoughts?

I'd go with Blue & Exile - Below the Heavens or Kidz in the Hall - Detention, it's a mixtape but pretty much an album. I thought Hell Rell' was ok. Dipset always has good beats, most of the time, and Hell Rell got really repetitive, it's like I was hearing the same song on a different beat, which made it get old quick. It's a decent listen though.

I change my mind, Jeru the Damaja - Still Rising. It just started playing when I finished typing that and anyway it's tight. Jeru is such a good artist, get it.

Boot camp clik's "Casualties of War" is without any doubt the most slept on album of 2007. IMO it's the best album that came out this year.

Blu & Exile is definitely slept on. What about J Wells and Kurupt Digital Smoke? I thought that was tight and it didn't get enough attention.

On a side-note, Im listening to a 9-track advance of Lil' Wayne's album and it sounds pretty weak so far. He's on some T-Pain electronic voice shit on some of the tracks. Im disappointed...

Here it is:

I made a thread bout J Wells a long time ago and it got no love. He is real tight, good choice.

I liked Weezy on it, he sounds good, it's different hearin it when someone is rappin rather than singing, I like it.

hell yea J.Wells and Kurupt! I forgot about that. One of the dopest without a doubt, whole albums is great but it's a typical chillout album. No deep tracks etc.
