yeah you do - if you use you card and they take it after there is no money your bank charge you to pay for that transaction - i was charge £70.
i did not set up a DD i'm not that stupid.
Credit and debit cards don't work like that, you should only be charged when direct debits or cheques are declined. Also, there is no way you should have been charged £70, £35 is the most they are able to charge, even though they are not even allowed to charge that.
a) You either got a real fucked up bank that no one has heard off.
b) You had 2 cheques or DD's declined for something else.
Also, PayPal take card transactions instantly, all card transaction are instant. If they weren't, you could go shopping in ASDA with no money on your card and when they took a payment at a later date, they would have been fucked out of there money.
