Just wanted to pass by and say hi.

Was feeling a bit under the weather looking for something to do and thought of here.

How's everyone?

Most likely plenty since the last time I posted. I moved back with the parents following a split, I work full time for a bank, and umm I dunno that pretty much sums up what's new I guess lol. I went to Indonesia for almost 3 weeks and just came back a week ago. It's absolutely gorgeous over there.

What about you?

The place here doesn't seem to have moved much since the last time I visited. What's happening?

Not many people still here but it's cool, more special in a way. How's bank work? I've always wondered if it's boring or not

I saw that. It sucks. This place used to be so crowded.

It really depends if you like finance or not. I'm an account manager meaning I open bank accounts, I do investments, I do credit. I technically do a lot of different stuff which keeps it interesting. But I do plan in going into management. The goal is to move up as fast as I can. Is it boring? Depends on the day and the clients I have. Some days I do bs all day, some days I get really interesting people in my office.

Hi. Hope you're well.

Indonesia sounds great! I would love to visit Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines too. Very nice places.

Banking is something that I have always considered as an option. Was thinking of taking some courses to get some qualifications.

I visited Bali, Lombok and Gili islands. Ideally I would like to visit Thailand next year. I've heard incredible things about the place.

I thought you wanted to stick to psychology. What's happening?
Hi Keco! What's up?
I spent a while in Southeast Asia.

Best. time. ever.

Which bank do you work at?
Where did you go in Southeast Asia?

I work for RBC (Royal Bank).

Nice, my bank of choice when I'm in Canadia

I spent time in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Wanted to do Bangladesh as well but I had to return to work.

.

I've heard of Bali and I think Gili Islands, not sure about Lombok. I hear that those places are really clean and the people there are pleasant (probably depends where you go though).

It's proven to be quite difficult getting into the Clinical field even though I've been volunteering since I was 16 (with mental health and vulnerable people) - it just doesn't stand out any more. I have had research placements and still volunteer with people that have Eating Disorders. I still apply for jobs when they are out but there aren't that many of them so I'm always looking out for opportunities and training courses to develop myself further.

I'm currently an Admin and have been for over 2 years, but I'm now contemplating the option of pursuing something non-psychology related (as an alternative).
