the buffalo video is awesome.

i like the way they all come back with huge group to come and rescue the baby buffalo. the lions couldn't do anything but to try to hold station, until buffalo drives them apart and separates them.


i was half-expecting the buffalo's to drive the lions into the water and make them crocodile food, that would have been the ultimate coup de grace!

i agree.. good tactical play by the buffalo.. the odds must have been at least 10 to 1 in favour of the buffalo..

notice how the lions didn't make any offensive moves once the heard of buffalo's approached.



i watched a similar documentary about a species of monkeys, it was a documentary from david attenborough, where the monkeys ganged up on other monkeys in their territory and killed them. the wildlife specialist likened their behaviour to that of a Machiavellian nature.
