read my original post again... maybe i never said it clearly enough.

what i was saying was:

are you sure that you didnt think of val young when you heard or saw k-young, knowing that val young was a woman? so upon finding out k-young (with val young in mind) was a man, it was a shock to you.

but now you know they are two different unrelated people. the name is similar (aside from k and val) - the name causing the confusion in the first place.
