Yes, this thread has been done plenty of times, but I just wanted to ask some questions.

If you get one, and get bigger, (i.e. working out) would it stretch and look weird? I don't want to ask the tatoo artist and him lie just to have a customer, you know?

I don't care about the pain, but about how much should a tattoo cost on the right shoulder by the shoulder and bicep? I'm probably going to get a lion or something there with a chain around it's neck to represent something.

The artist told me about $120, but I haven't had any time to go look around other places. Just asking on here I guess.

You'll pay the studio minimum which could be 50-100 and most artists charge by the hour depending on their skill level. 120 seems cheap unless it's a really simple design.

I wouldnt go to an artist that would lie to me about something like that. When I got mine I asked all kinds of noob questions and he was very straight with me. I got mine on my upper arm and it has stretched a bit since I started working out, but it doesnt look deformed or anything which is lucky

Check out some other tattoo places before you settle on one. Its best to get one recommended to you

I don't really know, but I'll tell you I'm a little chicken when it comes to tattoos. I don't even have my ears pierced... If I ever did get them I would get all the ones my best friend has, to her dismay. At least I've told her all about how I want the humming bird she has under her rib-cage, and the quote on her back shoulder which says in Italian "Once you are born you can no longer hide." (Quando sei nato non puoi piu nasconderti.) The movie's not that great, but it's one of our favorite sayings. I'll probably end up not mutilating my body in the end cause I'm a little chicken.

Before getting a tattoo you have to do a ton of research on what you want and the artist in your area. Go around to all the shops around you and look at their books. A legit tattoo artist won't lie to you and he will tell you what will be right for you and what won't. I'll tell you right now that if you are paying $120 for a lion and a chain that is a shit artist. Most places charge that an hour and the outline would probably take longer than that. With tattoos you get what you pay for.

Thnx. Exactly what i was looking for in an answer.

This artist was recommended to me, and it's actually the same dude that piercied my eyebrow the day I asked him about the tattoo. I guess I was wondering a bit b/c his demeanor seemed to change when I asked him the question about the stretching of the tattoo. As for the Price, he seemed very honest. :)

But I guess I will wait up a bit till I get where I want my body. I've gained about 10 lbs muscle without any protein/creatine since I started working out about a month ago. I just got some protein to speed up the process. I almost look like Bobby now.

U got to AT LEAST get some ear piercings!!!!

About the rib cage, make sure it's not too close where pregnancy might screw up the tattoo. (assuming u get one). My cousin got one and then like 3 yrs later, she got pregnant, it was perfect still, but the last 2 weeks of her pregnancy it screwed it up.

I think it depends on where you get it really I doubt it would stretch so much that it would look bad unless you gained a large amount of weight quickly but I doubt that'd happen. I wouldn't know tho cuz I don't have any tattoos I'd love to get 1 but I really don't know what i'd get. I feel like since its permanent it should be something meaningful and I can't think of anything thats meaningful enough to have it forever.

you can't go wrong if the tattoo design is placed properly, just make sure that it is level both horizontally and vertically, and placed central to the area where it it is to be. if you get fat, and the tattoo stretches, you can always turn to dieting.

^ lol stupid bitch.

Cheap isn't always a good thing. especially when its on you for good. Most decent tattoo shops are booked out for a couple of weeks and will charge around $100 per hour.
It wont stretch at all unless you get on steroids or something ridiculous.

What type of lion are you getting?

^not sure on the type of lion.

Recommend anything specifically?

I've been looking into the actual lion more than the price.

Not really. Personally I wouldn't go for a realistic one, unless the artist is off Miami Ink coz it will just look shitfull.

I don't know where Arthurrrr got his info. Unless Carmi or Keco had a kid, I'm fatherless. ;)

BTW, I got a few people to give me $20 and now I got enough for a tattoo. lmao.

I'm gonna go get one for free basically.

N SiGh, that's pretty homo. But I guess I couldn't expect nothing less of you.
