Just wondering whether people think the way they come across on the board is an accurate reflection of themselves or whether there are aspects you withhold, or just dont really have a chance to show.

I only know a couple of people off here in real life, but there seems to be some difference between 'internet image' and 'real image.' lol.

It's kinda hard to tell how people perceive you on here though I guess but on my part, I probably come across as being nicer and more serious than I am in real life. haha.

You're less serious in real life. Heaps more easy going than some people would think on the basis of the board alone. But then again, you probably can be harsh on those who arent your friends if thats what you mean.

i feel internet personailties are showon when ppl dont put thier age / where they live or post up a pic so they can hide in thier internet persona, not always the case tho'

I don't know. Only ruk has met me in real life from the board, and ever since he's met me i've changed heaps. I don't know what others percieve and what image i am potraying.

no one on this board is exactly how they are in life.

some hardasses are a lot softer then they appear to be and some ''nice''ppl on here are actually as assholish as they come.

I dont stay active enough on this board to ''give'' an image but I can guarantee that the ppl I actively talk too here and in general see me in a way better light.

It depends. If it's The Internet Me vs. The Real Me with friends, I'm pretty much the same, but, less serious with friends. If it's the Internet Me vs. Real Me in general, I am much more serious. But, I mean, I don't lie on here or anything. If I say something and it doesn't appear as a joke, then it's as true as it can be. But, still, I have no clue how I'm looked at on here and how others perceive me, so I honestly don't know.
