Yep, from South London- good guess. South london has a whole language of its own- there's 'getto' slang, and cockney (which is hard to understand at first). If u listen to UK garage, u need to understand the slang, its grimey!!
Like i said, there's two sides to south london- slang and cockney, and i live in areas where peeps talk slang- we dont say plonker, we say fool, muppet... I love only fools and horses, and it was by watching this that i picked up the other words. Where u from?
The Scottish & Irish do use a lot of the same words, we share a very similar mentality, not to mention a lot of Celtic culture (moreso with each other than with Wales), & the first people who inhabited Scotland were the Irish (known as Picts).
