i always figured that ice cube kinda was jealous of pac... he never really mentions him and they are both west coast superstars... i think he wanted what pac had...

Pac got mad on Cube and Westside connection and it was Pac who was tha shit and Cube was just a simple rapper from west coast. Yeah maybe he was jelous for some time but they liked each other before. They had many pics together :thumb:

ok sorry i didn't know how to say it short. Cube was always known as one of the biggest rappers and there was noone who was on much higher level if it comes to influence or image. He was always amerikaz most hated etc etc.Snoop&Dre at theyre best were comparible to cube if it comes to influence. Then Pac came and whole hip-hop concentrated on him. It's possible that Cube got jelous. Especially when Pac made him look somewhat stupid. He just got mad on one of the biggest rappers around and simple nobody cared.

i appreciate the clarification.

cube was the lyrical and dre was the instrumental foundation for west coast hip hop. he fell off like a brick when he went hollywood, but up through the war disc he was always up there with the best of rappers anywhere. period.

I personally think there are some more collaborations between them but they're not going to be released. If Cube got them he probably won't release them. At last not untill Amaru's fiasco. Come to think of it if i was a good selling rapper with all the money i need i would keep those songs as a personal treasure

I think it's a bit of a good thing that Cube dosent mention Pac much, maybe they werent friends or didn't get on etc. Makes a change from other rappers who had legitimate beef with him being involved in his music. Also good especially when you hear, as it should be called now, "Game dropping", hearing game reel off names of rappers track after track.

What makes you think that they never got on? Ok pac dissed cube when the westside connection album dropped but he was dissin a lot of peeps then. There are pics of cube and pac going back as far as 1991. Tupac also said ini nterviews that he looked up to cube.

ya that gets really annoying... but his lyrics can get pretty deep sometimes... his old shit is 100x better than his post-documentary shit...

i think its great how Ice Cube doesn't pretend to be pac's homeboy or rub it in every1's face onn eerytrack how he did a track with pac. its a shame Cube did go hollywood like Dante sed he fell off big time, its a shame he cudnt have stayed at his early 90's level
