Who reads books?

The Penguin Krishnamurti Reader - Edited by Mary Lutyens. This book is excellent for a different perspective on life, if you really understand what he talks about it really does make you think about your actions and others.

heres a good book, from the author of th Da Vinci Code, its called Digital Fortress.
its a good book, i dont read many books but this was good.

heres the back page summery of it

"Whe the National Secrurity Agency's invinsible code-breaking machine encounters a mysterious code it cannot break, the agency calls in its head cryptographer, Susan Fletcher, a brilliant, beautiful mathematician. What she uncovers sends shock waves through the corridors of power. The NSA is being held hostage - not by guns or bombs, but by a code so complex that if released would cripple U.S. intelligence.

Caught in an accelerating tempest of secrecy and lies, Fletcher batttles to save the agency she believes in. Betrayed on all sides, she finds herself fighting not only for her country but for her life, and in the end, for the life of the man she loves...."

i recommend it to you, go check it.

I just realised i read too much, i've read all the books all the members have suggested. That is if the book K69atie was suggesting was called something along the lines of the zodiac mask or something or rather.

My favourite book of all time is Perfume by Patrick Suskind. Best book ever... EVER!!!

i haven't read in about 2-3 weeks, but i've got a book collection like no other. And i have a book list filled with books to read that is just packed.

Next up on the list i have Conversation with God by Neale Donald Walsch. It got bumped up to number 1 after i was told about it again last night. Apparently there are 3 books to it and they're just amazing.

oh and personally i think digital fortress sucked. Biggest waste of time EVER!
Rich Dad, poor dad was ok, i've got the rat race board game. It's sort of like common sense.
The Penguin Krishnamurti Reader as i remember it was a great read, but it took me ages to get through it. i know it's short but i just needed to take my time to absorb it. Sort of like when i was reading zen and the art of motorcycle maintance. Took me weeks to get through that one too.
Madonna biography is a great read

i don't sleep much and in that time that i don't sleep i either play the guitar, read or write. I bought a new guitar thus i haven't been reading much lately.
But i used to get through at least a book a week. I got through the entire dan brown series in one week.

i've been meaning to read wasp factory, yup, another book on the list :D:thumb:

Read it my man, it's a cool book. A little weird, but well thought out & well written. Banks writes some crazy shit. He also moonlights as a sci-fi writer with an initial in between his names in order to show that it's a piece of sci-fi writing - perhaps some of the craziness in his novels is his sci-fi side coming into play.

^^ we read it as we had to do a play of it.

what aort of books do you like?

Books written by intelligent people. I don't really like story books. I like something that will expand my mind.

Like religious books, - Qu'ran, Bible, Scientology etc

Books like Da vinci Code.

And I'm into my biography / autobiographical books. I'm interested in people's lives.
