no but it is the product of an animal and no true vegetarian would ever eat food that was a product of an animal, including dairy products.
You're confusing a number of doctrines:
Lacto-ovo vegetarians don't eat meat but do eat dairy products. Most vegetarians are lacto-ovo vegetarians.
Vegans don't eat meat or use any other animal products.
Pescetarians don't eat meat except fish.
Pollo-vegetarians don't eat meat except chicken.
Octo-lactate vegetarians only eat meat from pregnant animals with eight legs.
Scientologists don't eat any living things, unless they're from another planet. And then they only eat them if they're from one of the evil planets.
Rastafarians don't eat shelled sea food or pork, and don't eat beef if it comes from a cow with dreadlocks.
Muslims only eat meat if the animal it came from was an Atheist, and it has to be killed in the name of God while facing Mecca and standing on one leg.
Nazis eat meat, but don't like Jews.
