I never said its not a classic. Classic doesnt mean good. All Eyez On me Is the weakest 2pac albums besides thug life.

Why is everyone hating on other's opinions? They are OPINIONS. I for one fully agree with haunted, I would rate AEOM a 3.5 as well. I mean it's a party album, and it's got some of Pac's dopest beats, but he's not really saying much on the album. It's his getting out of jail, I just wanna party and fuck bitches and smoke weed album. You wanna talk classic, look at Makaveli. Of course this is just MY opinion, but no one can tell me I'm wrong because it's an opinion.
Check Out Time is most definatly filler, as is Whatz Ya Phone #.
Look, this is a great album, even a classic, but its not a flawless album. Its your fav album? Thats fine. Honestly, I rate it about 3rd in Pac's catalog. 7 Day Theory and MATW are both better IMO.

3.5 mic album?? I want to know who rated that-"The Source". Huh, I guess magazines such as the source are real credible to rating albums. And you said that "Thug Life" is Pac's weakest album. In my opinion Thug Life is on the same level as Illmatic, it's just sad because the album is overlooked. "Thug Life" is some of 2pac's GREATEST WORKS. You must be high on your pc. The "Source" had given MATW 3 mics when it first came out also. I guess they were correct on that also huh. I guess that's why they changed it to its deserving 5 mics. If Aeom was given 5 mics, you'd have no argument to stand on today. The source is just someone and or a group of people with an opinion on an album like all of us. If someone like you ran a magazine, you'd give Kurupt's new album or GRODT both 5 mics. You know nothing about music. I know you have your opinion, but I just can't help that your opinion is such crap.

If you were to hear that song in the club loudly with bass and volume, all of you hating would be the first ones on the dance floor grinding with a guy/girl trying to rap the lyrics.

Wow, there's a lot of dickriders here. Why is it so hard to believe that some people don't think AEOM is the greatest thing to happen to rap music? If you judge this album by the standards of Pac's greatest works, this is an average album. The songs where he's actually saying something interesting and important are: maybe Heartz Of Men, Life Goes On, Only God Can Judge Me, I Ain't Mad At Cha, Shorty Wanna Be A Thug, Wonda Why They Call U Bytch, and that's about it. The rest of the album are either party joints, ridah songs or bitch raps. Now compare that to Makaveli, or some of his unreleased material like Until The End Of Time, Never Be Peace, Better Days, They Don't give A Fuck About Us, Who Do U Believe In, etc, etc. All Eyez was just a welcome to Death Row album. If you don't like that opinion, fine, but I am entitled to it as much as you are to your opinion, even if I think it's a "controversial, dumb ass opinion." I know some of you like to believe that everything Pac did was the greatest thing ever, but it's not true.
A dumb ass opinion would be one that has illegitimate backing or none at all. Everyone who said that All Eyez on Me is 3.5 mics can make a legitimate argument to support that. That makes the arguments unpopular, not unjustified (or "dumb ass" as you put it).
I rate All Eyez on Me as 4 mics, but I understand the 3.5 mic ratings. Although I don't agree with haunted's assertion that it is his worst album next to the Thug Life record.

coyote-tf never said that, he's agreeing with you. You need to re-read his post. And I don't think haunted was quoting the Source's rating, that is what he rated it. Damn, why are people so sensitive whenever it comes to this album? Any time someone says it's not the greatest album ever, people get their panties all in a bunch.
There aren't many decent tracks on the album that have replay value.
It's very much a 50 Cent type album. All about the beats and the partying. Everyone went and bought a copy though. Wanted to hear Pac fresh out of jail. Wanted to hear what he said about Biggie and co.
It's not a fantastic album but it gets the party jumping and gets a lot of people interested in 2pac. It's his most commercial but still gets 4 mics from me.
