So, it's my turn to cook. Last time I prepared Pescado con coco (Fish in coconut sauce) and Moro de guandules con coco (Rice, pigeon peas and coconut) which isn't hard to prepare. Takes like 30-40 mins or so. Typical Dominican food. Anyhoo, my boyfriend wants me to make "American" food so to speak. Something less ethnic, I guess. He thinks making the food I make is difficult because it's not something he's used to. I don't know what to make.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Oh yeah, what are you having for dinner tonight?

Good idea, perhaps I'll go with fried chicken and mac and cheese. That shouldn't be so hard. The thing is, it'll probably take me longer to cook that than the food I usually make, lol :)

Hah, that's true. I don't think it matters to him, he probably just wants American food.
