What do you do now and where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

In five years, I see myself with my Nike, Adidas, Jordan, and a lil Rue 21, Hot Topic and Aeropostle on my boy Mike's porch with a bunch of my peoples, chillin and crackin jokes, trying to holla at the fine bitches who walk past. People pulling up saying whats up to all of us and joining in on the fun. Dudes riding by with their sounds up, trunks rattling bumping the latest shit at ridiculous levels. I’m probably going to approach a fly chick in skinny jeans and dunks, feel me?
Hot Topic is emos only. They wouldn't talk like that.

Jokerman's post reminded me of how I love when white people try to talk "ebonic", they think it's funny everytime they do it even though it's not lol

Alas, I was fooled. Flip is on a roll in this thread tho. I chuckled a lot.

As for me, I'm studying water management right now. Where I am in 5 years, I have no fucking clue. I don't wanna plan it out either. I'll see where life takes me (sounds awfully cliche). I could be married with a beginning family in 5 years, I might be bacheloring it up in a foreign country (not unlikely considering the study) om 5 years.

My only one true goal within the next 5 years is to fuck Flipmo.

Married? Starting/finishing my masters. Work wise? I'm not sure. Hopefully not working in collections for a bank. Maybe move up in my bank until my masters is done and or something more in my field.

Will see where life leads me.

How is starting/finishing your masters in any way an answer to the married question?

Seb was right, you're not too bright. I'm definitely not going to see you as a shrink when I'm in a mental slump.

^I don't think you read her post right.

anyway, I didn't know you were studying water management. But something tells me (your choice of study) that in five years, you'll be collecting unemployment.

Actually, five years is nothing to me. It's like, my nails will grow somewhat and I'll clip them. That's about the whole significance of five years to me. Five years ago I would have said I'd be posting on this board in five years. And here I am. So in five years I'll be posting on this board. In fact, I'll remember to find this thread in five years and you'll all see how you didn't do anything important in that time and not much has changed. :amazed:

I'm aware of water scarcity and the push for sustainable climate policies but I agree tat there's no excuse for the poorly placed joke. It's Duke though, I want him feeling inferior. :D

I'm surprised how many people in their 20s think/hope they're going to be married in 5 years.

Hopefully by that time I'll be studying animal caretaking or something similar.

I hope that I will NOT be married in 5 years.
That would ruin my hopes and dreams :p

Find true love - sure, I really want to. However I don't plan to get married till early 30s.
