The thing about weed is that you can never OD, because you normally know when you're done and can't take anymore or you've hit the click and wanna stay right there. Also though, I find it hard to believe that one joint is equivalent to one pack of cigs. I dunno why, but I just do, maybe I'm trying to make excuses :laugh:
What about if you use pieces instead of joints and blunts? The latter are used on rare occasion when Black and Milds are available to most, but pieces are used by more people. So, is that worse than joints and blunts?

Where did I say you can die from a marijuana overdose? I said its less healthy than tobacco. Ever heard of someone dieing from lung or brain cancer? Weed can cause that - but then again, what cant?
I aint saying weed is extremely harmful - its just more harmful than weed activists usually say it is. Altho on the other hand its also a lot less harmful than most anti-activists usually portray it.

I dont agree with that, I've known alot of people who got addicted to Weed, they just dont admit it like most cigarette smokers do. Also my personal beleif is people suseptable to mental illness who smoke weed seem to enhance that problem. I had a friend who was a bit qwirky before weed but after turned into a real nutter, he's now in and out of mental hospitals and wont stop smoking. You can either beleive the weed is contributing to that or not.

that's somewhat true... thc is the active chemical that produces the high of course, however once processed by the liver it turns into several thousand different traceable substances. the effects of all of these substances (and potential collateral damage) are not yet fully understood.
the main difference between smoking ganja and tobacco is the filtration. when you smoke a cigarette the tobacco has been designed and processed so as not to puke out tar and resign type mess that ganja does. when you inhale a joint or pipe, the same tar and resign that clogs your pipe or makes your lips black is vaporized and finds its place in your lungs. likewise, both products produce carbon monoxide as a product of combustion, which is of course a carcinogen.
while ganja doesn't have the same added chemicals that processed tobacco does, thinking that inhaling smoke and tar will not cause side effects is crazy. limn's right on this one.

Oh and for all the weedheads out there who believe that weed is not addictive, it has been scientifically proven that, due to the much higher THC content in today's weed, it has addictive qualities. In the past, the THC content in weed was fairly low, but with all the information on growing that is widely available (not to mention all the chemicals added to speed up the growing process) growers are discovering how to make weed much more potent than it ever has been, and therefore more addictive than in the past. You shouldn't just assume everything a teacher or adults say about drugs is a lie because they don't want you to use it. Some of them actually know what they are talking about. We'll see how great you think alcohol is if and when you become an alcoholic

i jus found it imature that she acted like neone who drinks or smokes is stupid cuz of all the negative side affects, when she hadnt tried them yet to find out the positive ones. And with both drugs, if u use them responsibly, u wont hav to worry bout the negative side affects.

alcohol is one of the worst substances out there, i rank alcohol as worse than cocaine and even meth(although ive never personally done meth or coke) but as always politics play a part in whats legal and what isnt. tobbacco is legal because the country was built off it, if weed was legal then we would have another cigarette situation where chemicals are added and shit to create long term customers, taxing out the ass, watering down of the product and tons of money going to things that they shouldnt. moral is almost anything is bad for you if over done and alot of things can be good in moderation.
