Has anyone ever made (or attempted to make) a version of the "Thugz Mansion" 7 Aurelius remix (the one on Better Dayz) with Nas's verses put in?
I bought the vinyl and added the instrumental for his verses. Only thing with that is that Anthony Hamilton's hook starts rather abruptly, as there are no lead-ins, but that's how it's gotta be.
I then tried Nas's vocals. Perhaps if I get the vinyl, it'd be clearer, but the second verse on the a capella I used sounds rather muffled. Aside from that, it's hard to get him on beat. Both verses start fine, but then they gradually get off-beat; I tried toying with the speed and spacing the bars (but that comes off obvious and unnatural). (Also, there are remnants of J. Phoenix's chorus from the acoustic, but it's hardly distinguishable under Hamilton's.)
Has anyone tried this or are interested in trying?
