It's a new day, a new thought.
I recently came to the realization of how beautiful vegetables are. Those of you who check my profile religiously would know that one of my interests is colors. There is something magical about red cabbage blue. Chop up some red cabbage and let it soak in water for a minute, you'll get a beautiful deep blue. Words can't describe how beautiful it is.
Green has always been my favorite color (next to blue) so I need to give a special shout to cucumber green. Cucumber juice has that neon green tint to it and I love it! Almost like nuclear waste or antifreeze or something. Same green, but the one I hate is Spinach juice. The color is ok but it irritates my skin. Carrot yellow is bad too. Carrots will stain your fingernails, make your hand look diseased, etc. But no matter what, colors that vegetables produce are far better than any paint or crayon set I've seen.
If veggies aren't your thing, you could try mold. I never knew, until Tuesday, that mold came in so many different colors.
