I'm aware of that, 1996 to be exact, the reason I'm bringing it up is because most people probably haven't seen it and because this concept has been used recently in experimenting by Daimler Chrysler. So, welcome to the future I say.

Well, your first post made it sound like it was just recently unveiled. I wouldn't go so far as to say that "this concept has been used recently in experimenting" by Daimler AG (no more Chrysler) for various reasons, like the exterior being as dated as it is, though I'm sure certain interior features, like the three monitors (in place of mirrors) are things that may soon find themselves in production Benzes... or at least the higher-end models like the S-Class. Seeing how the car was labeled the "SCL600" (definitely neither a production model nor a nameplate they will ever introduce), it's no surprise that the car has styling cues that ended up on both the S-Class (the headlights) and the CL-Class (the overall side profile).

im really into mercedez but more into the slk, SL, s, and E class. if they ever did put this car out but made it more modernized i dont think it would be bad at all (right now i dont like it so much because it doesnt look like its that great, considering you can see the resembalance in the body in mercs that are already out. looks like the SL a little)
