there are alot of troops on the way. it will be interesting to see how shit plays out over the next few days. i hope it doesn't get anymore crazy than it already has. i can't believe some of the reports about what has been going on at the dome. over a dozen rapes, like a half a dozen shottings, and murders. thats fucking crazy. why put people through more hell?

What's going on in New Orleans in ignorant... How the hell are people gonna shoot at patients evacuating a hospital?!?!?! I was watching the news this morning while getting dressed for work, and someone actually had a good suggestion. Every able bodied man holed up in some refugee spot needs to be taken back to N.O. and given $20-$30 per hour to start cleaning shit up... I mean, they ALL need money right now and if they want to live there again, they can't expect things to be magically done for them. It's a win/win situation. And considering that thousands (not all, but thousands) had the chance to evacuate days before the storm hit and, for one reason or another didn't, these guys gotta take some of the responsibility for the mess they are in... anyway... go Raiders!!!
Once again, leave it up to some dumb fucks to make all Blacks look bad. It's o.k. if people were taking food/blankets/health accessories to survive off of. But there were reports of cunts stealing T.V.s. Like you have no home, and no one has any money, so what the fuck would you do with a t.v.? And seeing the New Orleans is over 2/3rds Black, of course it'll be reflected on us.
Then there are people who are firing shots in the air who were allegedly saying "Come get me!!!" Who the fuck would pick you up after you just try blaze at them? But the subject that fuck me up the most was the rape charges. Instead of bonding together, people rather take advantage of others who are helpless. This shit is a fuckin' shame....

Well, every city has how many guys who have raped before? A whole bunch, right? So what will those guys try to do in a situation like this? Rape. They did it in normal conditions, why wouldn't they here? Same with thieves. People who steal merchandise every day are not going to now? That's what they do. New Orleans is known for their gangs and crime rate. And the poorer the community, the more of these ppl there will be.
The rapes and killing are happening cause most of these ppl think they can get away with it. It's a state of Anarchy there, you think the cops are going to go around trying to get witnesses and then keep on bringing suspects to their station that's under the water. So this is a time to bring the worst in ppl (more like animals to me weither they be white or black).
yesterday or the day before they showed the prisoners being evacuated but they were well guarded by guys with shotguns. if anyone tried to make a break for it they would be laying dead in the water.
i'm tired of people saying that it has taken too long for the govt to bring in help. it's not like this has happend a week or two weeks ago. its only been like 3 days. the flooding happend like what tuesday? shit takes time to bring help far states. with no power, or way to communicate it's going to make it a little bit more difficult. everyone should shut the fuck up about how long it took for help to arrive. help arrived pretty quickly if you really look at it.
yea right.. this is a government that can send a cruise missle 2000 miles away from ship in the persian gulf and hit its target within feet but the same gov't cant find away to get some busses, national guard and food/water to its own citizens in a resonable amount of time
louisiana is in the bottom of the economy along with miss/alabama and arkasas... what did you think was going to happen.. what happened was no suprise.... N.O is filled to its teeth with projects kats and crooked cops (half of which deserted there collegues) tryna they best to survive doing what they do everyday... stealing killing and drugs... you think its suppose to stop because of the hurricane.. come on now...
this shit was bound to happen.. you dont give ppl that have nothing but generations of fucked up family conditions a chance to rise cause this is what happenes.. im glad the national guard finally showed up though for the people who want to get out of the city.

i totally agree. the government has practically no type of resources for shit like this. there's only so much they can do. for instance, the buses that transport the people out of there would not be from the government. someone would have to donate those vehicles. the same with the food. how can they give anything when they don't have it. they are getting the food from nation-wide contributions from public parties such as the citizens and private organizations such as Red Cross., not the government. the only thing the government can give is money. and seeing that it's hard enough getting the supplies there in the first place, the money is still of no use right now.
