The Best of Papoose- The Mixtape 2006
It's commonly understood that first impressions are of the utmost importance. This old adage can easily be applied to new MCs hoping to make names for themselves in this fickle rap climate. Killing it line after line, Papoose incinerates all his tracks by spitting bars filled with fire. He is now surrounded with high levels of buzz and anticipation, with listeners awaiting his next lyrical innovation. What many don't know about this confident lyricist is that he has been putting in work for years, populating the New York City mixtape scene with freestyles while forming alliances with heavyweights such as Kool G Rap. Years of focus seem to finally be paying off for Papoose in 2006, with the release of his official mixtape album, "The Best of Papoose", a collection of highlights from Papoose's mixtape appearances.
