The best and worst things about Where You Live?

#1
What is the best and worst things about where you live iyo.

My City (Gold Coast), is beautiful with beaches but is ridicolously over crowded and congested. Surf is great but the beaches are decreasing in size due to erosion and building near them. My state (QUEENSLAND) is big, wide spaces and laid back but infrustructure is bad with roads and water. Weather is unpredictable and is almost always hot.

Country (AUSTRALIA) basically lacks behind times at times but it's laid back and steady pace is great.

Its great where I live. It's a small college town feel with all the amenities of living in the big city. not to mention i'm only a few minutes from downtown chicago. I can drive or catch public transportation. I can walk three blocks to the beach or the rocks by the lake and look at the stars. There are always free fairs and fests going on. It's an awesome place to live.

The bad thing is that it's ridiculously expensive to live here and the parking sucks.

I live in Poland, in the middle of it's capital city - Warsaw.
The good things are that everything like cinemas, stadiums, shops etc. are close to the place I live, also I live in quite peaceful block, near the entrance to the nicest, most popular park in Poland. Overall people here are really nice but there are some dicks like everywhere.

Unfortunately good people tend to move from here, I'd like to move to a rather quiet and peaceful place. City life is too fast and I don't really like it that much, I'd rather live in suburbs.

Except that in Poland salaries are low, everything except food is expensive so it kinda sucks here and I'd say it's the worst thing about the place I live, even tho my city has the highest average salary - about 1200$/month which is slightly more than what one Playstation3 costs here ^^

Glasgow

Good things for me would be being able to watch Rangers everyweek without traveling too far.

Good night life, one of the best clubs in the country in The Arches and one of the top shopping facilities in the UK.

Bad things would probably be the general scum who inhabit certain parts of Glasgow.

Hamilton Ontario

Good:
Some historical sites if you like history (Battle of Stoney Creek historical site, Dundurn Castle, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum)
Good educational institutes (Mohawk College, Mcmaster University)
Situated close to bigger places (Toronto, Niagra/US Border)
Nice multiculturalism

Bad:
Polluted from the huge steel industry (We're called Steel City for a reason)
Bigger cities dwarf our city
Way too many one way streets downtown.
Want a good job? Move out of Hamilton

i live in upstate NY. Yes, very upstate as in a 20 minute drive north will land you in Canada.

The Good - hardly any traffic or pollution
-no crime at all
-before i turned 21 me and my friends would go to
Canada to drink (legal age there is only 18)

The Bad - not much goes on here
- the winters are horrible (really fucking cold)
- no job opportunities

The best thang where I live is no doubt the sun all the year (almost), the 2 sides of the island (mountain & beach), beautiful girls and the mixing of races.

The bad is that it's xpensive to live here too, plus it's not easy to find jobs also.
