Its not facts, it what you are told are facts. The rest of the world know that its all bullshit. You just can't handle the fact that you are wrong. I said it a fucking thousand times now, I wouldn't say this shit if I was wrong, I wouldn't waste my time. I swear I must be the most educated fucking person on this fucking site, probably explains my MENSA membership, and why I had a college education 2 years before all of my friends left secondary school. I was educated in America, I was also educated in the UK, Germany & Spain, and its funny how the latter three's historical education is the same but the first countries historical education differs greatly.

But, attention on your reply: You say "we" like youve been a part in the war, like you were a soldier fighting for your country. Actually, you were not. You were not even born back then.
Plus, no one knows how it would look like today if the us had not been involved in the war. However, it was good the us did get involved in the end.

You still haven't posted ANY evidence. I don't think saying "I wouldn't be saying this if I was wrong!" works in any court of law if you're defending yourself, why would it work anywhere else? So please, post some evidence, it should be easy to find with your MENSA membership and your use of the internet before all of us (when you were what? 6 years old?)

Prize Gotti, you're being so vague here that I'm not sure what you are saying is all US government propaganda. That Americans fought and lost their lives fighting in Europe? No? Well that alone is helping England win the war. Nothing is all propaganda. Anyone who's read A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, or similar books, will get the idea that there's another side to the usual public school textbooks on US history. And some of it is undoubtedly true. This stuff is not hidden or hard to find. In fact, it's all over the place. Very few Americans are clueless nowadays, and don't believe everything the government puts out. But just like the "official" story, a lot of this needs to be balanced and it's not. The writers have an ideological agenda: communist, socialist, anti-elites, or whatever. It's also often simplistic, just like someone saying, everything the government tells you is propaganda.
What we find in a lot of this revisionist US history is instead of presenting events in American history as they happened with an attempt at being unbiased, every event is setup with a spin to make it sound like a travesty. And historically inexperienced people come to believe that, and then think that everyone else is naive and in the dark.
There are plenty of balanced historians out there who consider things objectively. You need to distinguish. Just as you're saying most Americans have been told distorted history, you need to consider whether you've gotten distorted history--but from the other side.

The UKs only way of surviving was the lifeline connected to Canada through the Atlantic that was being devastated by the raiding parties of German U-Boats. Without American convoy support (which included air patrols provided by American Carriers) the UK would be starved of resources.
Without American Convoys there would be no Atlantic Lifeline, without the lifeline there would be no Allied buildup, without the Allied buildup there would be no D-Day invasion.

Every country has propaganda in its history. American history exaggerates its role in WW2 and downplays the UK. UK history does the same and downplays the US role.
Unless you were there, chances are what you know is wrong in someway. And having seen the bullshit that the US media reports regarding the war on terror.....the things I find out about the way your history is taught don't surprise me.

What I mean by that is - if there is ANY opportunity to promote or make money, its there for you guys. To use a very basic example - you know when you guys have TV shows?....there will usually be adverts between the end of the show and the credits.
That doesn't happen here, but for every show on the channel that's a bunch more money. That's just one small example but I think you can see what I mean. Its easier to make money there than it is here.

One example is the Enigma Machine, the British seem to want to take responsibility for cracking the Nazi codes in WW2 when in fact it was the Polish cryptologists working at the Cipher Bureau that cracked the code. The movie Enigma (a UK production) totally disregarded the fact it was cracked by Polish cryptologists and shows the British cracking it while the Polish soldier was the traitor, when in fact it was cracked by the Polish and the only traitor was English.

I resent that you throw me into the pool of "ignorant people". That shit is just unfounded and completely unwarranted because what you said was horseshit. Atleast people in your country receive universal free healthcare, whereas atleast 50% of American's don't receive adequate health care purely for the unfortunate fact that they cannot afford it.
If you want to compare pictures and photos as the basis of your argument then fine. Ill just google an image of an American ghetto and we'll see how that sits with that photo of a British public housing estate. Whatever.
