Yeah. He changed the meaning of that song by putting the "I'm not a wannabe, I am Tupac Shakur". Eminem took the song and made it about what he wanted it to be about. i.e. saying that people are copying Pac, and that they ain't cool because they can only use burbon, scotch,etc to mimic Pac.
Yet, however, the real message of the song, was Pac being flattered by the amount of soldiers he got and willing to ride for him.
("Everywhere i see a soldier like me, everywhere i see....) wasn't meant to be a diss to his rydahs, but Eminem ruins that and makes it seem like Pac's some anti-social prick, upset that people are influenced and got love for him.
And Eminem even managed to sink beneath our low expections, producing the worst Pac album-to-date.
Another point: Eminem defendants also wanna say we hate it because 'Em is white'
Scott Storch is white, yet people give props to his 'Po Nigga Blues' remix,which shits on anything Eminem did on this album. So that's not an issue, either. Let's face it, we had low expectations for an Eminem produced album, and he somehow managed to do even worse.
why, when you're doin' nothin' but act like a child and throwin' tantrums pissin' ur pants 'cuz some ppl actually like LTTG..........and when there is disagreement you lash out like a tourrett's patient with a frozen brain and a paint can stuck up ur nose.................U produce a pac album then post it here and c how many ppl feel ur production.....quit bein' an ignorant ass and open ur mind to optimism........
wen i first got LTTG album, of course the first track I listned 2 was Soldier like me and I skipped it as soon as I heard eminems chorus cuz I thought it was real shitty.
strangely enough tho, for sum reason the chorus dont bother me anymore and I think its one of the best songs on the cd.
and LTTG is a great cd, i think, and FAR from the worst pac cd to date. That would have to go to Nuu mixx clazzix or 2pac live.

I don't really consider Nu Mixx Classics a Pac cd, because we already have AEOM, so we can choose to keep what we already have, which is the original classic album. As far as L2TG, we got shitty remixes/voice alterations, being done to unreleased material that we were never given an opportunity to hear untouched.
