Snocap and MySpace - The musical revolution?

With the incredible effect MySpace has had on the music industry, it was only a matter of time before they delivered the killer blow. And I believe it's here.

Our management has been in talks with MySpace over the last few months - the result? We're one of a few artists asked to beta-test "Snocap" - the software that MySpace has officially licensed to enable members to sell their music.

Take a look - www.myspace.com/swamimusic

As you can see, the shop adds itself to your already existing MySpace Flash Player. (We didn't have to add any code, or give our login details to anyone, it just appeared once the deal was done, I think.)

So what do you make of this? We've already clocked a good amount of sales over the last few days - and I have a feeling that in general, this will take off majorly over the next few months... It makes a lot more sense than the iTunes shop, considering that not everyone uses iTunes or iPods. It makes sense that people can just go to your MySpace and buy the song straight away.
