there IS a difference between GRILLZ and having their teeth GOLD/SILVER plated..the plated type is when i looks like their teeth has paint on it.

but a grill is a piece of jewlery that you wear over your teeth.

What I find weird is that I can't seem to find any hip-hop fans in the US that dislike this trend. What will a trendy rapper do that the fan won't follow? Not a damn thing. Fans will jock everything. Same goes for other music genres, though. I'm not singling out.

You can say majority of fans allow it. Commerical fans allow it. there is lots of things rappers do, that lots of fans dont like. And grillz been around for a long ass while. it just took the paul wall/mike jones/nelly and crew to show it to the "commerical" world. just like lowryders...or braids..or wutever u kno

I dont know much about grills or gold or coloured teeth, but IMO it aint too cool, an it dont look good! For me you cant beat a pair of pearly whites.
