Not positive I have this but someone posted about this a while ago and the description fit perfectly.

"Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder characterized by unpleasant sensations in the legs and an uncontrollable urge to move when at rest in an effort to relieve these feelings"

Luckily I only get it every now and again but it fucks with my sleep and my God the shit is annoying! Anyone know how to get rid of it?

Get some magnesium and calcium. Take about 300milligrams of each 3 times a day.Magnesium and calcium are responsible for contracting and relaxing the muscles. If this helps, you might have a deficiency of either.Get some blood tests done.

I once had chronic muscle twitches for about a year.I had to inject myself with megadoses of magnesium, and i was cured.

Is this where you get a little pain in your upper/nee part of your leg and you gotta strech your leg out to get rid of it? then it comes back in 30 seconds?

yea exactly. it's annoying feelings in the legs where you have to constantly move them to temporarily get rid of the discomfort, but the feelings(tingling,spasms,etc..) come back after a short period of time

I dont know about pain, but I get the uncontrolable urge to bounce my leg up and down as if I needed to piss real bad, only I dont. And sometimes when Im laying dow I just get this unpleasent feeling and need to shake it out of my legs so to speak.

Chron, I had this problem early last year, I would wake up because of it. 2 doctors told me it was stress related. When I saw a phyciastrist for something unrelated, I mentioned this, he gave me stress-reducing techniques and I no longer have that problem.

Its a story with a lot of stories, the parts i remember is that Kramer doesn't want to sleep with his girlfriend because she has jimmy legs, and then Frank says he hasn't slept in the same bed with his wife since she has the jimmy arms. The episode is called The Money after some googling

I also jerk in my sleep...or so I've heard...maybe I'm having a bad dream.

I hate when this happens to me, every waking moment I don't feel comfortable in my skin, I'm fuckin serious.

Yea, and I'm Claustrophobic too.
