yeah, a little, but you are also from r.i. ":(

i dont really rep where i'm from but i do wear stlouis cardinal hats most of the time not so much because i spent most of the life growing up across the river from there but because i have always loved the cardinals. it could be looked at as repping where i'm from i guess.

It's not overrated when you really love you're surroudings or place you grew up in, and you're proud of it as well as of you're friends from that region. But it's quite rare in my opinion

i agree... I'd go further and say it's annoying, unless you represent your country...

Like all that hood repping... annoying shit.

I think u gotta be proud of where u come from, the people u grew up with etc. But its ignorant if u rep where u from like its better than everywhere else. Where u from is important to you but it doesnt make u more important or better than no else. When i was younger i was willing to fight over being from 72 ave. and thats stupid. That type of shit is way over rated and needs to stop. Its not worth it.

What does where i'm from have to do with anything? You probably haven't been here and have no idea what it's like.

Well that's the problem. That's all it is now a days. People say where they're from like it's supposed to mean something or like someone gives a fuck. Am I supposed to believe you're tougher than me because you're from LA, Jersey, New York, Atlanta or <insert popular city here>? When it's not much different where I live anyway? I think rappers do it way too much as well. But i'm very big on taking pride in being yourself, I just think the whole repping of where you're from is stupid.

It's not a problem if your either from there (really), love where you grew up.. But if you have that fake pride because a popular rapper is from there etc then thats stupid.

i dont mind ppl, reppin' where they're from.. but only to a certain extent. Some people think just cuz they're from or live in certain areas, makes them a somebody. But I've seen way too much shit to be fooled by "Yo dont fuck with me, i'm from..." To me, if ur in ur area, whether its a government housing project, or a suburb... ur only somebody on ur block. Right when u step away from ur area... where ur from doesnt mean shit.

... I think rappers do over hype it way too much. Like seein lil crack head kids in toronto talkin about how they're from Brooklyn, and how they used to sell rocks or whatever is pretty comical. Some ppl might give u respect for that shit., but to me, it aint where ur from or where ur at.. its who u are.

People seem to get more upset when I "rep" the countries that my family is from as opposed to "rep'n" Chicago which is where i'm from for some odd reason.

I actually "rep" Hispaniola a whole lot more than I "rep" Chicago though.

i don't care when someones repping their own city. I rarely see it in Aus. I fucking hate the fucks that rep other countries and other cities when they've never fucking been. All these kids wearing USA jumpers, all these kids wearing LA & NY hats... that's what shits me!
I still wear my AUS cap and people look at me weird asking me what's wrong with me.. and they're wearing a top with the UK flag... what the fuck is wrong with you...

Sorry one of the few things i'm extremly passionate about.
