The soundtrack should be your first clue that it's staged but (as with the "Farting Preacher" series) soundtracks are much simpler to alter than vid.

Pay close attention to the last few seconds. There's a noticeable edit point. Within the gap that you don't see, the occupant of the mailbox is extracted. Even blanks would cause harm.

Once the occupant is safely removed, the gun-toting actor can begin firing blanks into the mailbox and shrug at the end.

The record-scratch was a nice addition.
