Question about TRUE Breathing OG (not confessions)

#1
despite what some people think its pretty commonly known that confessions was one of the first remixes of unreleased pac music and not the real OG to breathin. MY question(s) are: who was the person who remixed it? and has anyone heard the true OG or have it, if so can you tell us how it sounds in comparison to the retail and confessions? and finally, anyone with any legit info on it please share it. hopefully dante or someone like him can drop some knowledge on it.

yea it would surprise me if its unfinished because catchin feelins and pacs life were the same way. id say most likely the reason they werent finished was because guest artists had verses they had to rap and write, and pac was just waitin on them.

Johnny J Remixed It, It Was Supposed To Be On Bizzy Bone's First Album "heavenz Movie" But Did Not Get Approval. I Believe Its On The Test Press Of The Album That Was Given To A Few Radio Stations

I don't think Pac's Life is unfinished, I think it's supposed to be the way it is... short and sweet.

But yea, about Breathin', Dante said it was just 2Pac's verse and that it's unfinished.

yea now i do recall dante saying that, but i dont even think he has the true og, from what he said a long time ago he said its a mystery to him. are you sure pacs life isnt finished? theres 3:14 version on pac and biggie u never heard but its a remix. i just dont think pac would make a song 1:26 or 27 long, and plus theres the one version where the beat continues with no talking or anything it goes on to 1:45 or so, which makes me think that was the original and someone shortened it up, i think the beat continues because it was meant for a guest artist to rap over and it wasnt finished. i think if it truly was finished it would have more of an outro to it.

Possibly Pac was gonna make more verses... but why would someone else rap on Pac's Life? lol

yea i know, good point, but if pac wanted to rap more verses i think he would have just rapped them i dont think he would have any problem being in the studio a little bit later just to finish it considering a lot of people say he used to only sleep like 2 hours and stay in the studio like until 4am sometimes. I mean why would pac do a little bit of one song, and then a little bit of another instead of just finishing a song, only reason i can think of is if he needed other people in the studio for certain things or if he was waiting for someone else to be available to do there verse. and this could also have a little bit to do with david kenner not giving pac acess to the tapes without his presence.

Well, it's possible... like in the case of When Thugz Cry, he did two verses of that, then came back and did the third. That's why the third verse sounds weird.

Someone said a while ago; (OG) song has 3 verses. I'm positive of it.

This 1m45s longer version you're talking about would seem back up what I heard of the song having another verse. so add 1:26+1:45 together...the OG was 3:11, sounds more like something Pac would do.

na it was never finished sum asshole didnt let pac in 2 the studio suge had b in there with him

that money hungry fat bastard
What a dick. I'm surprised Suge didn't just tell everybody, including Kenner, to just let Pac enter and leave or do whatever he wanted, whenever. they were such good friends, and you'd think he'd trust him, especially with his own music.

Pac's Life, Catchin feelins, and Breathin were all unfinished (among many more). David Kenner kept the reels from 2pac because Suge wasn't around, and Suge had to be around for Pac to record anything (or something along tjhose lines, Dante ecxplained this shit months ago)

If Johnny J remixed the original Breathing, why didn't he use the actual acapella for the track? It's quite apparent that Bizzy's verse is better quality than Pac's verse. I've heard repeatedly over the years that some DJ did the remix, but I cannot remember the name.
