question about the An Early Pac Mixtape

#1
Some of the early available versions of leaked og's were mixed. I think by Dj Butta but Im not sure. Like Pacs life, Until the end of time, Let em have it, Fair X Change. You can hear all these being mixed with each other(not in that order). I was wondering if Anyone had any info on this. Does the mix exist in full? Any info would be appreciated.

As for songs like Fair XChange & Let Em Have It, you might be thinking about the "Motion Mixes" of these tracks...not sure what else you wanna know but hope that helps

Yeah I think it might be Mind motion. But did he drop a whole tape of mixes or just mixed a couple of them?

as far as dj motion and dj express goes, i think the traditional story is that dj motion was the only one of the two to ever have any real exclusives, while dj express' shit was basically stuff that he downloaded.

The CDs I got in 1997 with the DJ Express adlibs inserted were probably some of the better-sounding versions of a lot of unreleased songs at the time, and a few (but not many) of them are still the better-sounding versions of songs that are widely available, so I figure he had to have something somewhat exclusive at the time, especially since in 1996-1997, downloading songs hadn't taken off yet. The sound quality of those CDs were really good at the time, considering I think I even bought a couple CDs from G. Litt in early 1997 (the Makaveli 2 and East 2 West CDs), but they weren't close to CD quality.

maybe so, but i still think its a fact that express never had any hookups, and anyone else could have gotten the songs he had and put them out if they wanted to. while on the other hand, dj motion had a direct hookup.
