This is out my room where I'm sitting now. Other shit in my gallery.

It's fussy coz of the dirt on my window... stupid road workers kicking up dust.

Thank you. We're pretty close, it's about a 15-20 second walk to get to the sand. Thankfully, we were able to get a corner place, so there weren't any obstructions blocking our view of the ocean. There are five of us dogpiled into three rooms in the top of our duplex. I have my own room though. But don't get it twisted, this isn't my permanent home. I'm in my fifth year of college, and I figured for the last one, I might as well do it big in Newport Beach with some of my closest friends before I have to be a real grown-up.

ay man. ur own room. dats great. doesnt git better den dat. n hell yea u should do it big for ur last year. u should have dope as memories when u look back. how much u pay for rent? as in whole for the duplex

Rent for our floor of the duplex (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) is $2400 plus utilities. Originally it was $2200, but when my idiot friend told the realtor that there would be five of us (instead of three, since they like to keep it at one person per room) he and the owner had to hike up the price. And parking is a fucking BITCH, but thankfully I get out of work around 4 and make it home at around 4:30 or so, so it's not that big of an issue, unless I go out. My portion is $672, since we divided the rent according to square footage of the room you stay in; mine is the smallest, but still reasonably roomy, fitting a queen size bed, corner-oriented computer desk, dresser, and nightstand.

^ word on tha Discovery channel is that theres a whole lot of bugs and snakes in shit in Australia...how bad is it really?
Bugs yeah but there are bugs everywhere no matter what country. Snakes havent been too bad at my place, we've had lizards though and they keep away the snakes which is good but lizards are pretty scary too (I opened the front door a while ago to find a blue tongue lizard making angry noises at me - bastard. I did that whole 'aaarrgh' thing, legs and arms flying!). We have heaps of birds too with all the trees.
