i remember even the presenter of the kids tv show here hated it lol.

The show had two puppets and a presenter and when it was time for Round the Twist to come on, they were like do we have to show this

I guess you didn't watch alot of weekend/summer time programming on Channel4 during the 90s.

Pugwall ran for 2 seasons, Pugwall & Pugwalls Summer, but was repeated numerous times during the 90s.

And Bobby, Round The Twist was epic, what are you talking about?

Some kid walked round on a blue screen with a super imposed image of Inside some Castle or w/e and he wouldnt be able to see cos of the helmet they had to wear, while 3 others sat at a screen and guided him round. I think like only 1 team ever beat the game.
