People over the age of 21..

^ Leaving behind your friends for education is something that happens. In my case, I had better relationships while they were at school.
My lifestyle is something that I choose, but the decisions they make is mostly out of my control. What I'm looking for is the change - How did you and others changed and in your case, what is holding you guys together despite the change?

lol well the people that went to uni got bigger! lol no offense cooper or anyone else that mite see this 
, but i dunno we dint really change too much in ourselves...
the thing holding us together is the fact that we bin together for so long theres about 12 of us, say recently 8 of us went on holiday together had a blast i thnk its the fact that we cna go out or stay in no matter wat we do its always fun we barely argue and like each person brings a separate component to our group so like we just are like 1 big unit so to speak its cool!

i dont dont keep in contact with anyone of my friends from high school. it's for the better probably, if you knew the kind of life i had back then you might understand. i talk every know and then to one friend who is in grad school in S.C.
i did run into some people from high school that i had mutual friends with, at a music festival a few summers ago.
but i have changed a lot since i was in high school, which was better for me and my whole family. i have made new friends and met lots of new people. honestly, i could really care less what my old friends are up too. there is only a select few that i wish i had stayed in better contact with but shit happens when you move away.

that's true. I had a couple of good friends in middle school, then we graduated and went to different high schools. We would still hang out freshmen year in high school but not as much as we used to. Now i haven't seen or talked to these guys in a couple years. One of them now has baby and the other guy went the bad route. Always in trouble with the law. Its not like i have anything against these guys, but we just drifted apart. Maybe its for the better. Now we have new friends that we kick it with and the friends that i have now are probably gonna be the ones that i have until im old.
I have many friends from all different groups. I guess they all see a different side of me.

I have black friends that don't like white ppl. White friends that don't like black ppl. rappers, strippers, engineers, doctors, murderers...
So I associate with A LOT of different ppl but I would only call a select few...friends.

Iam 24 years old and i have 4 best friends i consider to be brothers that ive been friends with going on 16 years now. i met them back in first grade and i love all four of them like i said they are like brothers to me, i know they will be there for me all through my life and with some luck my kids will grow up with theirs.
i'm only 19 and a little over a year out of high school, but it's already true. i only hang out regularly with my best friend and his girlfriend if she's around. there were two guys we used to chill with all the time. one works too much, the other changed a lot in college. he's pretty much a dick.
one of my friends moved down to philly where she goes to college. i see her when she comes back up.

funny, my brother told me the same thing when i was around the same age.
And yeah definitely. I only keep in touch with 2 of my friends from highschool and we don't see each other that often but it's sort of like we pick up right where we leave off everytime we see each other so it's good. The rest i see around but we're all in different places now. We're no longer teens trying to make a mark or prove a point.
