When I first heard the dude, I thought "Punjabi MC?" but not as catchy and the beat is not that hip-hop like. Good song. You would have ruined it if you rapped your wack verse over it, so thanks for not doing so.

However, I'm curious to see where you stand in the credits of this song. Why is it your song?
it's not a hip-hop song, it's a pop/funk/bhangra fusion. glad you like the song. lol at saying i would have ruined it with a wack verse. that's pretty funny. Virgin Records, who we just signed with obviously don't think so, since they have picked the track that I am vocally on the most to be the first single...as have Universal in the UK....funny how a lot of people at the labels and in the media have said they want to hear a version of this track with me doing a verse on it...obviously they don't think the same way you do. :thumb:

my role in this band stems a lot deeper than simply just as a vocalist....don't worry about the credits and who did what....the royalty checks don't lie........as Punjabi MC knows, since there was about 5 other people involved in the making of his hit....one of whom is a very good friend of mine and actually co-wrote some of the punjabi vocals on our last album....

Anyway yeah as I just mentioned two paragraphs up, my manager just confirmed that we have signed with Virgin Records. Now I can use that lyric I was toying with about me getting that Richard Branson money. lol.

On this particular track it's a guy called Romesh who is fairly new to the bhangra scene in the sense that not many people have worked with him so far, he has not been completely rinsed out the way that others such as Lehmber have been......

Pras is already on the album, on another track called "Pushin'" and his verse is DOPE. His entire verse, every line is a classic hip-hop lyric but he fits them all together.

7 Syns - my best friend is a massive redman fan lol. He would freak if it was Red. It's not though., although my cuz played me a new beat he was working on the other day that would be PERFECT for Red.

We have just become a featured artist on MySpace!

Check it out:

To see it for yourself go to http://uk.myspace.com and click on music.

This is good because companies are obviously very interested in this type of stuff. Our management will certainly be mentioning this in all the meetings he is having at the moment.
