A glass bottle fell down from a shelf in my bathroom. Now it didn't break but a big chunk of my sink came off lol (yes it's probably a very cheap sink but for the rent I pay for the apartment, this comes as no surprise). So I figured if I glue it back it will just look like it has cracked and I can tell my landlord that it either was like that when I moved in or that I don't know what happened to it.

Will the glue be enough to make it stick though?

Yea superglue will. did the same with the top bit of our toilet. if they dont know it's there, they'll never notice it.....just make sure u stick it right first time....once it's stuck it is not coming off again :thumb: :)

you need some cock and ceramic filler. go to ACE hardware, home depot,or lowes and tell them what happened.they';; point you to the right product. Also, when you get a apartment usually a manager goes thru a walk-thru which shows any damage or things wrong with the place is put in a contract. therefore anything not on the list is your problem.

If it's industrial glue it might work - I doubt regular glue will be strong enough to hold it though. How on earth did the bottle not break when it made the sink break - that is so weird... good luck with your landlord Kat, if he notices anything just lie ;)

We need a DIY forum me-thinks

Use some of that no more nails stuff.. according to the ad on tv you can stick a chair to the wall and sit on it!

Must have been a hard glass to break the sink and not shatter itself! I'd suggest super-glue but go talk to a hardware guy about the process otherwise its likely to not work. Our review mirror came off our car and it was a bitch to put back on, its still not right.. :(
