I don't know why everyone always complains about those two songs. Even though they were both recorded for different purposes (Toss It Up was just a club song that Pac made and Just Like Daddy was intended for the Outlawz album), they're both good songs in their own right, even though they don't completely match the whole mood that Makaveli sets. But personally, I much rather would've had Pac leave Friends on the album and take off Toss It Up. Imagine how sick that would've been!

Both songs are dope, Toss It Up has too much K-Ci n JoJo though... I don't know why people hate on Just Like Daddy, even EDI's verse is dope.

While we are on the subject of Makaveli album does anyone know where I can buy a poster or art piece of the front cover picture?

I don't the reason why pac or suge wanted to keep the tracks to 12.

You can get the poster from Dante probably. I don't think Suge and Pac wanted to limit the album to 12 tracks, that's just how it came out. In his last VIBE interview, Pac specifically said it was 12 tracks.

friends would have been a much better final pick than toss it up imo. on the test press friends was the final track on the cd.

I can't listen to Toss It Up cos it takes too long for Pac's 2nd verse to come in, I usually fast forward or just skip the track :thumb:

I find that weird, Against All Odds is alot better way to end the album.
Dante wasn't saying that he wanted the album to end with Friends, he was just agreeing with my opinion that it if it was down to picking Friends or Toss It Up for the final cut, then Friends would've been the way to go.

lol I know... he said the test press ended with Friends, and I thought that was a weird way to end the album.
