people slow down at curbs (usually a mom in a minivan) but if they accelerated just a tiny bit, they'd get more traction. a person who's not one with the car is clueless about things like that. seriously, when you merge into a highway traffic, grow some balls and make room.. you don't wait for somebody to wave you in. a few weeks ago, i was driving on a highway and I passed a hot blond in a Civic. I was driving along and she suddenly sped up to pass me.. i loved it. it's usually some redneck from Wisconsin that wants to prove the value of his '87 Buick but not this time.. I was chasing a hot blond going over 90 mph. My blood was boiling because she was good. she knew how to move in and out, side to side. It was my first.
that said, when it comes to men vs. women, it's usually a matter aggressiveness and cautiousness. when it comes to old people - they can't hear. they can't see over the steering wheel. they leave their turn signal on for 25 miles. i can always smell the fear of old ladies grabbing the steering wheel with all the strength they've got. they don't know the meaning of "slower traffic move to right". sometimes they think the gas is the break. they drive on the wrong side without drinking a drop of alcohol.
The reaction time of professional race car drivers are fraction of a second.
