NOT MY OPINION: Tupac Shakur is Way Overrated....

Its ok to have your opinion. But that wasn't really an opinion. It was hate

And in my opinion. Id say that Tupac was underrated(disagree with me or whatever), i don't mind. But if you think of 50, and other rappers, that are selling double that much. When Pac was alive, ok he was selling, yeh. But he never earned as much as some are earning now. Why? Because rap is more popular now. It ain't just about money. But he didn't get the props he fully deserved, not in the UK anyway, especially after a few movies, and alot of albums in a pretty short time, with him going to prison, too. He wasn't even big in the UK, until Changes hit, and I Ain't Mad At Cha hit stores. So, in my opinion, he was, infact, underrated. Like Eminem said. The man's life was like a movie, and when you think of stuff about him, like that, you know. I'll probably get accused of dickriding or whatever. But its my opinion, and I don't give a fuck what others think :thumb:

Let him have his dumbass opinion. He is entitled to it, no matter how wack and ignorant it may be. Its like I said in the hater thread I made, "its lonely at the top".

Well well, these comments dont suprise me at all
Ignorant man.. who cant take it that every1 got respect for pac and that pacs stuff still sells.
Ha, TAlkin about a dead man like that is not a good thing...
and you know what.."Revenge has a funny funny way of settling the score, and when it happens you will know"

Its hard to accept that pac was/and still is without doubt the most-successful rap artist..and u just cant take it, that Tupac was beyond you and ur whole

Yeh the dude was expressing alot of hate towards Pacs music, he would first give Pac 1 good comment and then blow it all away by giving 5 negative comments. So its obvious that this opinion was fuelled by hate. If he just rambled on about how rubbish Pac was then his opinion would not have counted at all, but since he dropped a few compliments in there too he thought people might understand where he is coming from. But its obvious this guy dont like 2pac - which is perfectly ok for him to express that -

You know how every chick with mental/emotional issues loves Sade? Well Tupac touched (no homo) every gangbanger, thug and thug wannabe with mental/ emotional issues. I’m sure most of those dudes are pretty eff’ed up in the head what with them losing homey after homey every other week in ‘da hood due to gunfire and gang warfare. Instead of going to see a therapist (which I can’t even imagine those dudes ever doing) ‘Pac became like their Sade. I even remember some dude posting on this site about how he sits in his truck, listens to Tupac and starts crying like a lil bitch. So yeah I get it, Tupac is like a thug’s Sade,, difference being that Sade dropped like 4 classic albums

That being said, the late Tupac Shakur is waaaaaaaay overrated.

Judging by his reasons, I don't see how he came to that conclusion. Seems that he acknowledges Tupac's music appealed to certain people, apparently not him - that doesn't mean therefore that because a particular type of music or a particular artist doesnt appeal to us, that they are underrated. It may not be music this guy likes but, I would say, at least have the decency to acknowledge despite that, he meant a lot to a lot of people. Even then, I dont think you have to be a "thug thug wannabe with emotional issues" to respect or understand Tupac's music.... only have to look at the members on this board as proof.

I was reading through some of the posts in that blog.....damn, MAAAAD Pac haters on that site. Seriously, I thought I walked into the fucking twilight zone, when I read that shit. So much ignorance over there, I probably lost brain cells reading through that shit.

Its ok....all the Biggie fans know deep down that their hero will never even be close to Pac.

It seems there are still alot of people that are having a difficult time accepting that Pac is the biggest hip hop icon of all time and that his music reached more people then their fav rapper.....jealousy is a mothafucka.

just because he has a DIFFERENT opinion than yours doesn't make him wrong. and no, he wasn't paid to say this as part of some intricate blog conspiracy against 2pac.

are you people really so narrow minded that you can't swallow the fact that people have different musical tastes? if the world was your way everyone would sound like pac and there'd be a thousand stagnant and boring ja rule's. would that make you happy?

here's a hint... get the fuck over it. it's the man's opinions. the people who disagree with him are well within their rights, but attacking the guy for what he feels just makes you look like children and sheep.
