Need Help with Tupac Assiment

The whole point of teachers making students do book reports or research papers is to fucking learn. Which is also why teachers often TO AN EXTENT let the students decide what they want their paper to be about.
2Pac ain't a hero & if you choose to idolize him, then that is a poor choice. If you didn't mean it like this then, my bad, I have taken your words out of context.
Anyway, the 'Angel/Devil' concept is a good focal point.
2Pac's strength lies in his humanity, the fact that he did right & wrong.
This is what you should be talking about.
You should portray 2Pac as he was - someone who was essentially good & knew right from wrong, but struggled to cope with the heavy demands life put upon him especially with all the negative influences around him eg. drugs, violece, corruption, Government policies.
If the assingment requires you to portray your choice in a purely heroic light then you should make the concept of 'The Rose That Grew From Concrete' your focal point.
If you know where I'm going - run with it.
If not, ask me to elaborate.

Tupac is a truly monumental & inspirational figure but, IMO, he shouldn't be looked up to as some kind of 'hero'.
Mahatma Gandhi's a hero. MLK's a hero. Huey P. Newton's a hero. Che Guevara's a hero.

Like I said in my post, there was a struggle going on with Tupac & while you could say MLK had faults (his love of women), Tupac's faults were regularly present.
I think that he was essentially a good person, but there was a lot of hate in Tupac & he was often corrupted by much of the negative influences surrounding him.
Don't think I am ignoring all his good points (before I get about a thousand posts saying this shit & that shit), because we all know his good points. What I am doing is saying Tupac was an Angel at heart, but often expressed himself as a Devil.
I judge a 'hero' on the righteousness of their heart, principles & actions. Tupac definitely had the first, at times the second was wayward & the third was often wayward.
In a previous thread someone tried to equate Tupac with Gandhi - although realizing the poster must not know much of Gandhi, I gladly told him he was a fool.
If anyone else thinks Tupac can be put in the same bracket as those I listed as 'heroes', I will do the same to them.

You think a little too black & white my friend. Not sure what your point is other then downing pac but your talkin so much shit flies are coming out your mouth. Pac aint that bad of a person for anyone to look up to and espcially the fans that felt like they knew em for the good and the bad. The point I think is he was real and alot of ppl respect that. You want to idiolize Gundi I think your living on the other end of the spectrum and can see how u see none of those qualities in pac lol
