We don't celebrate new year 13 days later after catholics celebrate.We celebrate new year same as them on the eve of 31st.We celebrate the old new year on the 14th,13 days later from the new year.
They believe Christmas is a week later or whatever not for no reason ... I learned it in Physics (astronomy) but I was too tired to listen. But scientifically proven one of the two IS wrong.
