As i said, the kid is responsible for his own actions. Im not blaming Manson. All im saying is that violent music, games, movies etc. They can have a bad affect on people, whether it is happening subconciously or not. Fair enough the kid was probably mentally diturbed, but youv'e got to look at the amount of murders which are related to violent movies/music. The figures speak for them selves. If there is relation between 2pacs music and gang violence then it probably due to his music being misinterpreted. 2pac himself said that he wasn't a gangster.

You can't expect musicians to only make nice, happy music. If you're of a violent, depressed disposition, you're going to find justification or inspiration from somewhere. If it wasn't Marilyn Manson it would have been Tupac or Kurt Cobain or Tony Montana or Charles Manson or Jack the Ripper or Adolf Hitler or...you see what I mean? He would have found something, somewhere to reflect what he felt. I listen to Manson, Tupac and Cobain, I watch Scarface, I read about Charles Manson, Jack the Ripper and Adolf Hitler. I've yet to brutally murder anyone. You can't censor the media and rewrite history to try and stop people thinking evil thoughts. Read 1984.

Yea it could be his fault but maybe he grew up in a fucked up childhood. I mean people arent born like this for the most part. Ever heard the saying "bad dogs arent born, they are made" ? Well there had to be something in his life that made him think this was acceptable. But you could be right also.
I think the connection is an excuse. I watch violent movies, play violent games and listen to violent music. But I've never killed no-one. And what figures do you speak of? There is a relation between 2pac's music and gang violence, but no it isn't due to misinterpretation. It's due to the fact the gang members like Pac, without his music they'd still be gang members. It's just something for the media to create in the hope of selling more papers, better viewing figures, etc.

I don't know why these kids are affected by this but what i do know is that this glamorization of violence make violence seem alrite to some people. People begin to accept violence and death. As it is, he was left be & murdered his grilfriend which I actually think he might of done because of his other girlfriend. Both of the girls looked the same but the way I interpreted it, he was cheating on Jodi & when school ended he was going to stay with his other girlfriend for a while thus Jodi would find out. So he killed her, rather than face the consequences.

You mention Myra Hindley (not sure about spelling), but don't know if you remember not long ago they were thinking of letting her out (for parole or day release or some shit) and people went crazy! So they did think about it, but she wouldn't be fucking safe. It's best for everybody if she rots in jail.
