I'm almost certain they do, you aren't allowed to speak with any kind of accent as a news reporter I don't think. Every tends to talk in the same neutral monotone voice that seems to be easy to understand and unoffensive as it doesn't link you to any ethnicity. I'm almost certain i speak differently at work than I do amongst people I like.
