Glad to hear that tha true OG beat of Letter 2 My Unborn is very close to tha UTEOT version. I always wished it was, because it is very emotional.
That is not what he said, he said there is a DIFFERENT song with the OG beat almost identical to the UTEOT Letter 2 My Unborn.

2Pac is rapping over I'm getting Money OG being played off a cd from his car/suv what have you not. He is rapping to his already recorded lyrics, You can tell because he's quicker than his recorded lyrics at one point cause you hear his recorded lyrics come later after he finishes a certain part in his lyrics live. And you can hear 2Pac clearly already recorded to the beat.

i have a mystery to play with your grey matter...
there is a 2pac song that is leaked in og form, yet what has leaked is actually a remix. the true original of this song had an instrumental almost identical to the released (retail) version of letter 2 my unborn.
what song could it be? the answer on ogv5 :)
Shut up and get the damn things pressed up. :horny:  :p

Good point... I really do think it is Thug in Me, since normally you would pair the Letter 2 My Unborn instrumental with a love song or something about someone close. If you think back to Pac's interview where he talks about doing a "remix to What'z Ya Phone #," he mentions that it uses the same beat as MC Lyte's "Keep On" which samples the same Michael Jackson song as Letter 2 My Unborn, plus the version of Thug in Me that we all believe to be the OG and remix to What'z Ya Phone # (since that is how it was labeled back in the bootleg days) doesn't really sound like that MC Lyte song even though that is how Pac described it in that interview.

2pac mentions both mc lyte and mj in the outro of thug in me, he was prolly keepin it on the hip-hop tip or people would react disappointed if he said he took a beat straight offa a figure so discussed like mj.

It's gotta be Thug N Me then. I was never really crazy about tha "OG" beat.

Really? I actually was a big fan of it, especially after "Thug N U Thug N Me" first dropped on the K-Ci & JoJo album.

At first I really hated tha "OG", but it's not that bad now. What K-Ci & JoJo album did it appear on?
