When a person utters an opinion that deviates from the norm, not with a marginal length, but by miles, it's customary to be concerned. The point is that he is right. I have read some of your lyrical analysis, and they are far out there dude. That's not just me saying that, btw. I'm not angling this. I'm not going for the funny approach. I'm not pulling the holier than thou here. You have to get over this idea that everybody human being on earth are unique, and that if we disagree with you or don't get you, we are wrong/bad/you are enlightened. It's not the case. We've all thought we were smarter than everybody else, but the fact is that when a large group of people tell you you are wrong/disagree with you, most likely they are more right than wrong. It's your civic duty to pay attention to such heed.
Tupac was not a Jesus. For all your fandom, did you ever sit down and listen to a Tupac interview? If you look in between poetic quotes about roses and concrete, you will see that a lot of Tupac's opinions were soaked in ignorance. Take his one comment about Chuches. He said, why do churches have to have colored glass and shit. Why do you have to seek out God, why can't he come to you when he's the one that put you here? A simplification. If you tailor a religion to your needs you're a hypocrite. Pac was a hypocrite for professing to love God, yet carrying his life the way he did. He didn't want to be a religious person the way other people do it because it was impractical, but he gave the impression he answered to God. The point I'm making is that Tupac never gave the whole "Where do we come from? What's the purpose of the universe?" a whole lot of thought. He took one explanation out there that's easy to lean on and ran with it. It makes sense. Some people fight for world hunger, others for animal rights. We can't all fight the same fights. Pac wasn't about philosophy on religion. He was an instigator. Do you remember the black watch interview from Thug Angel? Or the Out On Bail live performance where he shouted "fuck all y'all white people"? Pac said some stupid shit in his day. Yet people look past it, point to his epic quotes, and call him the black messiah.
The reason why Pac didn't rap about ambitionz az a WRITER, and the reason why this one line from LastOnesLeft is as simple as S O F I made it out to be, is that Tupac was just another black dude from the hood. The only difference is he was a little bit smarter than the rest, and had a lot more coincidences hit him. Analyze your own ways of communicating with your friends. How many times throughout a day do you say things that were in fact predictions of the future, although you used clever wording to hide your true motives (even though that doesn't make sense as someone with an ability of foresight would not do that at all)? none? I though so. Why is it reasonable to think Pac was superhuman? Spending an average of 25 minutes writing each song, how much time is there to figure out complex puns like rapping about being a rider for life while it's in fact about being a "writer"? Doesn't it make more sense, if anything, for Pac to say something like my ambitionz as an artist? He didn't just write? It's like you looked past all the fifteen feasable explanations, and try to find one that doesn't incorporate one single detail used in ANY of the aforementioned scenarios, only to prove that it's possible to come up with a different explanation, then going with that last explanation instead of all the other ones that are a lot more likely. I get your point, you just want people to be aware of the other side of the argument blah blah blah. In the end, if you listen to "Ambitionz Az A Ridah" and think it's about how great a songwriter Tupac was, you have failed. You can keep trolling and sticking by it but for what? Just so you won't have to admit that someone else came up with a proposed scenario that sounded more feasible than what you could come up with? Why do you believe you are the golden child who saw the light in every discussion? Why do you think so many people have failed to get to the point where you're at, intellectually? Why are you so closed and narrow-minded to the possibility that it's the other way around?
