Joyride In Stolen SUV Ends Inside Teacher's Home
2 hours, 44 minutes ago

A joy ride in a stolen sport utility vehicle ended Wednesday morning when the driver crashed into a teacher's northwest Houston home, Local 2 reported.

Police said the driver lost control of the SUV at about 1 a.m. and ended up crashing into the home on East 23rd Street near Michaux.

The homeowner, who is an art teacher at Caesar Chavez High School, was asleep inside the home when the crash happened. She was not injured but the living room, kitchen and garage of her home received major damage.

Neighbors told investigators they saw two people running away from the SUV.

Construction workers were called to the home to help repair damages.

The teacher told officials she had just finished remodeling her home.

^^^...She was an art teacher. How bad can they be? I never had a bad experience with art teachers.
math teachers should go first when crashing cars in their houses. i agree art teachers are at the bottom of the list, but stll, they had to make a decision, fast :)
